starting and negotiable? The Opportunity We’re looking for a
strategic, forward-thinking Tax Director to lead and grow our tax
team. This is a key leadership position for someone who thrives at
the intersection of technical expertise, client advisory, and
operational excellence. This is a full-time remote role, and the
right person will be included in decision-making as part of the
leadership team. What You’ll Do ? Lead and mentor a high-performing
team of tax professionals ? Oversee complex tax compliance and
planning engagements for businesses and individuals ? Collaborate
with legal and accounting / Fractional CFO counterparts to deliver
holistic client solutions ? Manage and grow client relationships
through proactive tax strategy and advisory ? Ensure compliance
with federal, state, and local tax laws – with a sharp eye for
planning opportunities ? Develop and implement scalable workflows
and technology integrations (we use Ignition, Karbon, and more) ?
Stay ahead of tax law changes and advise both clients and internal
teams accordingly What We’re Looking For CPA or EA required; JD or
MST a plus 10 years of progressive tax experience, ideally in a
public accounting or multidisciplinary environment Strong
leadership and people management skills Excellent communication –
you can explain complex tax concepts in plain English Strategic
mindset with a hands-on approach Comfortable working in a
fast-growing, tech-forward, collaborative environment Someone who
has worked extensively with a workflow / practice management tool
