Job Description Job Description Delco Storm & Sewer Services - Drain Cleaning Technician Lansdowne, PA Join a Team That’s Been Getting It Right for Over 40 Years Delco Storm & Sewer Services is Delaware County’s trusted name for underground utility work, stormwater systems, and full-service plumbing. We’re expanding our interior plumbing division and seeking a seasoned Drain Cleaning Technician to lead the charge in residential and commercial service calls. Responsibilities Complete all drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to in-home, service calls. Provide Camera service for mainline stoppages Describe diagnosed problems to customers and provides solutions Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, effectively communicating drain issues and recommended solutions to generate sales opportunities by explaining the features and benefits of each solution. Obtain agreement for services before performing work Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products to customers, maximizing revenue potential. Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service experiences and resolving any customer concerns or issues promptly. Maintain truck inventory of parts and restock truck to minimum stock levels Be able to successfully perform basic drain cleaning functions using small to large-sized drain cleaning machines Have the basic knowledge of how a plumbing system works Be able to remove and reset a toilet and a p-trap Operate equipment in a safe manner Wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and co-workers Provide solutions to sewer and drain problems. Participation in required staff meetings and training Requirements 5 or more years of Sewer and drain cleaning, replacement, and sales experience Service Titan experience a plus! Working knowledge of septic systems, sewer and drain systems, and underground piping Personable and professional High integrity and strong communication skills We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
