Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A school district located in Harrison, NJ, is seeking
two dedicated Special Education Teachers for the 2025-2026 school
year on a contract basis, starting mid-March through June 2026.
These positions focus on providing in-class support (push-in
support) in both ELA and Math across K-8 grade levels at an early
childhood school setting. Position 1: Pre-K through 2nd Grade -
Classroom Style: In-class support within general education settings
- Number of Students: 11 - Full-time role beginning around March
30, 2026 - Responsibilities include delivering special education
services at both a preschool center and a nearby public school
location (approximately three blocks apart) - Requires managing
IEPs via Frontline-IEP Direct platform, maintaining progress notes,
goals, academic summaries, and attending IEP meetings as needed
Position 2: 3rd through 8th Grade - Classroom Style: In-class
support within general education settings - Number of Students: 9 -
Full-time role starting approximately March 23, 2026 - Responsible
for delivering in-class support services directly at the public
school site - Duties include accessing and updating IEPs on
Frontline-IEP Direct, recording progress notes, goals, academic
summaries, and attending IEP meetings Qualifications and
Experience: - Valid Special Education Certification required -
Experience working with students in K-8 grade levels preferred -
Ability to support students in both in-person learning and virtual
environments - Strong organizational skills for IEP management and
documentation - Effective communication and teamwork abilities
