Posting Summary The Department of Labor Studies and Employment Relations at Rutgers University seeks to hire lecturers who can teach a range of courses (i.e., Intro to Labor Studies; Youth and Work; Occupational Safety and Health;; History of Labor and Work in the U.S. 1880-1945;) in our undergraduate and graduate programs. The instructors will present course materials during assigned course times, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades, complete assessment of student learning reports, and coordinate any other requirements related to course instruction. Rutgers University is a leading research university that has a culturally-diverse student population of 67,620 students from all 50 states and more than 120 countries including 48,040 undergraduates and more than 19,580 graduate students. Our department offers courses online, in person in New Brunswick, and in person in a select number of off-campus courses in partnerships between Rutgers and Brookdale and Mercer Community Colleges.
