Marriott International, a forefront leader in the global lodging industry with properties spanning 139 countries, is seeking an experienced Engineer II to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative environment where quality hospitality meets excellence in facilities management. As an Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency and high-standard service delivery of our hotels and resorts, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety. Perform routine and preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities. Implement and oversee energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices across hotel operations. Coordinate with various departments to ensure consistency in service standards and guest experience. Manage maintenance logs and documentation of inspections in compliance with local laws and safety regulations. Provide training and support to junior engineering staff. Participate in emergency response teams during operational disruptions or natural disasters. Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Proficiency in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred. LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) is a plus.
