tomorrow with you. • Applying electrical, electronics and physics
theories to execute various tasks related to Survivability
engineering field • Ensuring that NASA, commercial, and military
space vehicle and missile designs, from the component level to the
system level, will meet performance requirements during and after
exposure to specified environments; these environments include
natural space radiation and manmade radiation • Conducting
technical planning, specification requirements derivation, modeling
and analysis, design, test planning and execution, documentation,
requirements verification/validation to support overall system
needs and act as technical consultant for management and customers
• Working closely with the design team, test, reliability, and
other engineering disciplines in the development of mission
analyses, identification of MMOD mitigation strategies, and support
trade studies • Joining the enterprise Survivability Engineering
group, will be partnered with other authorities, mentor and lead

defense systems. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Radiation/Nuclear Physics or
related engineering discipline (or equivalent) with approximately 9
years of professional experience • Experience working with Natural
Space Radiation and Manmade Radiation Environments and design
hardness, and ability to perform tasks pertinent to Survivability
discipline • Experience using Electrical engineering simulation
tools (e.g., SPICE, PSPICE, etc.) • Experience using Software tools
for performing electrical engineering and mathematical analyses
(e.g., MATLAB, etc.) • Experience working in Test laboratory
environments and associated test disciplines using tools/test
equipment such as data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, spectrum
analyzers and/or signal generators • Knowledgeable in Electronics
and /or semiconductor physics • Active SECRET security clearance
with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
Desired skills • Survivability Engineering tools (e.g., NOVICE,
FASTRAD, Srim/Trim, Novice/Geant4, Creme96, Creme-mc, Shieldose,
Spenvis, Omere, Bumper, ORDER, MEM, Ap8/Ap8, and Ap9/Ae9) •
Experience working in Radiation test facilities [e.g., test labs in
universities] • Electronic, electrical, electromechanical and
electrooptical (EEEE) components • Experience with Piece-part
radiation testing, performance, and reliability • Perform
micrometeoroid and orbital debris (MMOD) risk assessments via
statistical and computational methods • Active Top Secret Clearance

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be
performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work
Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance
Information This position requires a government security clearance,
you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual
base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts,
and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado,
Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont,
Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at

The annual base salary range for this position in most major
metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is
$102,800 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
