team. We are currently looking to hire a Sr. Manager, Supply
Planning based in White Plains, NY or Broomfield, CO! The Sr.
Manager, Supply Planning is responsible for leading the Yogurt
Supply Planning team toward achieving key metrics of customer fill
rate and waste.
The Sr. Manager ensures targets are met at lowest landed cost,
while minimizing waste and controlling finished good inventory
levels through management of the mid- and long-term production
plan.
In addition, the Sr. Manager is responsible for recruiting and
talent development by equipping the team with key supply chain
functional expertise.The base compensation range for this position
is $110,000- $125,000 commensurate with experience. Danone North

environment.About youResponsibilities:Oversee a team of six Supply
Planners providing direction and implementing strategies to achieve
supply chain metrics. Facilitate informed decision making from
senior leadership by performing root cause analysis and presenting
findings.Coordinate with stakeholders in demand, finite scheduling,
industrial planning, materials flow, customer service and trade to
implement strategic plans to meet business priorities.Main point of
contact for Trade and Customer Experience regarding summarized
service outlook with drivers of impact, escalating prioritization
decisions as needed. Coordinate tactical customer re-assignment,
cross plant production, and resupply when required to maintain
customer service levels in the face of production challenges,
un-forecasted demand, or engineering projects.Develop robust
processes and work to give planners the opportunity to master the
tools and processes of Supply Planning.Collaborate cross
functionally to analyze and present operations recommendations for
sku rationalization.Supervisory responsibilities:The Sr. Manager,
Supply Planning manages a team of six Supply Planners.Working
conditions:Work could be performed in an office environment or
remote. Preferred Candidate QualificationsMinimum
qualifications:Bachelor's degree (Master's degree a plus),
preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Operations or
related subjects.6 to 9 years of experience in Sales and Operations
planning, production scheduling, inventory deployment, and project
management, preferably within the consumer-packaged goods or food
industries.2+ years of people management experience.Experience in
managing production planning/ inventory and deployment in a
multi-facility environment.Experienced using ERP and APS systems to
manage production scheduling (SAP APO SNP, ECC PP, PPDS,
etc.).Proficient with Microsoft Office products; Microsoft Excel,
PowerPoint, Project, Word and Power BI.Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities:Understanding of planning practices and impact of
inventory and forecast accuracy.Adept at communicating key supply
chain facts and recommendations at a Senior Executive level.Plan,
communicate and implement programs and influence key stakeholders
to enable success.Ability to become deeply technically
knowledgeable and lead implementation of a new planning
toolset.Change champion who can lead teams throughout the
organization with a mindset for continuous improvement.Strong
analytical skill set with ability to create metrics and perform
analysis to generate senior level reporting.Is expert in diagnosing
root causes of service and waste issues, including post-mortem
analysis on forecast, inventory, production, and deployment
data.Ability to demonstrate people management and positively
influence the performance of others to achieve desired results
through motivation, clear direction, active communication, and
coaching.Possesses well-developed thought processes and ability to
