WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: Respiratory Therapist ~ Discipline: Allied Health Professional ~ Duration: 13 weeks ~36 hours per week ~ Shift: 12 hours, nights ~ Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a state of the art health care system in Pompton Plains, NJ. Job Function : ~ Night Shift. ~3x12: 7pm - 7am. ~ Reviews patient records, including admission and current respiratory care orders, history, physical exams, PFT values, ABG results, and laboratory data. ~ Sets up and maintains respiratory equipment as instructed. ~ Performs patient assessments to monitor the effects of therapy and documents findings in the patient chart. ~ Conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures to ensure adequate oxygenation, airway maintenance, and proper humidification. ~ Obtains and analyzes arterial blood gases (ABGs) as ordered or per policy. Job Requirements: ~2 years of clinical experience. ~ Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license. ~ National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) registry required. ~ BLS certification required. ~ At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or physician office setting.
