Growing together. /n /n Position Highlights & Job Responsibilities: /n /n - Independent practice with a strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospitals that provide a full range of Endocrinology medicine /n - Direct and manage a complete continuum of quality-based care within the interdisciplinary team /n - Teamwork; Evidence-based Medicine; Value-Based Care /n - Provider Wellbeing; Work-Life Balance; Flexible Scheduling /n - Responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries of the ear, nose, throat, pharynx, sinuses, larynx, thyroid, oral cavity, salivary glands, and esophagus /n - Examines patients in clinic and performs surgical procedures as needed /n - Consult with patients to understand their health concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients /n - Consult with patient’s primary care physician and other specialists as needed /n - Full complement of clinical and administrative support teams to assist with patient care, including a dedicated Medical Assistant for each provider /n /n What makes an Optum organization different? /n /n - Be part of a best-in-class employee experience that enables you to practice at the top of your license /n - We believe that better care for clinicians equates to better care for patients /n - We are influencing change collectively on a national scale while still maintaining the culture and community of our local care organizations /n - Practice medicine autonomously in an ambulatory setting partnering with primary care, with a sustainable and thriving national health care organization /n /n /n Optum NY/NJ was formed in 2022 by bringing together Riverside Medical Group, CareMount Medical and ProHealth Care. Together, we're making health care work better for everyone. /n /n You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. /n Required Qualifications: /n /n - Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process /n - Fellowship trained and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology /n - Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start /n /n /n The salary range for this role is $208,000 to $352,000 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
