Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and active NJ or Compact licensure to join a dynamic cardiac and neuro-intervention team. Responsibilities - Work in a busy hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab - Perform cardiac and neuro procedures including CAD, PAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, arrhythmia, and stroke cases - Handle 10-15 cases per day in a high-volume setting - Day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Shared call rotation with call required once or twice a week and every 5th weekend - Epic EMR is used for charting and documentation - Floating required within skillset as needed based on staffing and census - Responsibilities include case preparation, assisting with interventional cardiac and neuro procedures, and post-procedure patient care - Locals and first-time travelers are welcome to apply - Must disclose any international work history or permanent residency status - Clinical team members are expected to make up any missed shifts within the same pay period - Return staff must have been absent from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel contract - Modules and Epic training are required before the start date - Scrub attire is required in the lab Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist - Active NJ or Compact license required at the time of consideration; license required if applicable - Current ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required - Experience with cardiac cases (CAD, PAD, STEMI, NSTEMI) and neuro (stroke) procedures - Must be able to work 2 of the 3 major winter holidays as scheduled Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629577.
