Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Manahawkin, New
Jersey, 08050! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered
Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of recent L&D experience required License:
ASN required, BSN preferred Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (all
required) Must-Have: Mother/Baby and/or Nursery experience
preferred Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for
evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient
needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care
through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care
for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the
physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages care of
patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice,
patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. Advocates for
evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of
evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides
patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing
practice model. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Schedule includes working every other weekend and at least one
holiday per season. No on-call duties required. Patient ratios vary
daily based on the type of patients being cared for. Mother/Baby
ratio is typically 1:3-4. Labor Patient ratio is typically 1:2.
Candidates must be highly reliable and available to work all days
disclosed prior to the job offer. Alternative jobs that interfere
