Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 14 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Day Shift Med-Surg/n/n Location/n The position is located in New Jersey. /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Day shift, 36 hours per week, with weekend requirements every other week and holiday requirements as needed. /n/nJob Description/n The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patients' needs, identifying patient needs, and establishing priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients based on initial and ongoing assessments. /n - Initiate assessments based on patient's problems or needs and the physician's medical diagnosis. /n - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage the care of patients. /n - Document care in alignment with standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. /n - Advocate for evidence-based practices and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery. /n - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. /n - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent strong Med-Surg experience required. /n - ASN required; BSN preferred. /n - Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required. /n - Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, AHA, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours required. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
