Description Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Nursing Assistant for the Simon 3 Hospice and Palliative Care Unit at Morristown Medical Center. This is for varied shifts, including every third weekend. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care Assisting patients with daily activities such as changing and bathing Measuring and recording vital signs Administering basic treatments Helping to ensure a safe care environment Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met Assist the team with answering, patient call bells Assist visitors and patient's needs. Manage EPIC Assist with rounds for patient experience Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required Minimum Experience: Acute Care Experience preferred Assist with ADL Epic Experience preferred Medical terminology preferred Basic computer skills preferred Qualifications: Good communication skills Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
