Full-time Description JOB OVERVIEW The Park Operations Systems Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Prospect Park Alliance’s operations by leading, managing, and advancing the implementation and use of the Alliance's asset management system. Reporting to the Chief of Park Operations Capital Planning, this position ensures that operational data is effectively collected, managed, and analyzed to support decision-making, reporting, and long-term planning. The Specialist will collaborate with operations, capital, landscape management, facilities and other teams to develop data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and improve park management. Requirements ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / KEY JOB OUTCOMES Lead and support the implementation and ongoing integration of OpenGov into park operations workflows, including staff training and troubleshooting. Serve as the primary administrator for OpenGov, ensuring system functionality, accuracy, and ease of use for staff. Collaborate with Landscape and Facilities Management to capture, analyze, and report operational data to guide planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Develop and produce recurring and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for senior leadership and operational teams. Partner with the Chief of Park Operations Capital Planning to identify and implement improvements to operational systems, including opportunities for OpenGov integration with other platforms. Provide technical support to field staff on system use, mobile access, and data entry to ensure accuracy and consistency. Monitor system performance, identify issues, and recommend or implement solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Maintain accurate records of park assets, maintenance activities, and operational metrics. Contribute to special projects and process improvements that strengthen efficiency and accountability across the Park Operations team. Performs other job-related duties and functions as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Management or a relevant discipline is preferred but not required Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, systems management, or a related field; experience in park management, facilities, construction, or landscape operations preferred. Strong technical skills with experience implementing and administering OpenGov or other asset/work order management systems required. Proficiency with OpenGov or other enterprise-level asset management platforms strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and produce actionable reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Excellent project management, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users. Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience in training and supporting staff across departments. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Requires routine physical movements with limited physical exertion and use of a desktop, laptop, or video display terminal. Ability to communicate, receive, and understand information through oral and written communication, and proofread and check documents for accuracy. Requires communicating information with co-workers, stakeholders, and/or the public; reading correspondence, instructions, and/or technical documents; writing correspondence and/or reports, and filling in forms. Salary Description 66,300 - 72,000 annual gross earnings
