Job Description:

Slice Merchant Services is seeking a friendly, energetic, and reliable leader to head the Technical Support Department.
Excellent opportunity to join a leading, national credit card processing company that has over a decade of industry experience. Slice Merchant Services offers innovative payment processing solutions to merchants. Slice delivers a consultative approach on the best platforms and equipment most suitable for each merchant.
*Responsibilities:*
* Hires and trains the Tech department staff.
* Organizes and oversees the schedules of Tech department staff.
* Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
* Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
* Oversees a large team of tech support agents.
* Ensure and facilitates the installation and maintenance of POS systems, hardware, and software by the tech support team.
* Identifies and recommends upgrades and changes to hardware and software, maintaining efficient and effective operations in the organization.
* Facilitates and oversees the technical support and helpdesk roles, ensuring effective and helpful support is provided to end users.
* Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in information technology, alerting senior staff of the effects widespread software and hardware revisions, changes, and discontinuation will have on the organization's systems and operations.
* Ensures POS-related projects and tasks are completed within specifications, and on time.
*Requirements:*

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
* Thorough understanding of technology, software, and hardware.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
* Proficient with or able to quickly learn the software and applications used in the organization and the industry.

* Salesforce
* Credit card processing equipment & POS systems
* Tech Support
* Merchant Services Industry
*Education and Experience:*
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
* At least five years of related experience with at least two years in a supervisory role preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
