Job Information:
Location: Barnegat, NJ
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay-rate: $19.00 / hour
Contract-to-permanent Opportunity!
Community Support Specialist Job Duties: Prepare and send lease
renewal notices to residents in a timely manner.
Track renewal responses and coordinate follow-ups as needed.
Assist in processing lease recertifications in accordance with
property policies and regulations.
Maintain accurate records.
Record and track rent payments, ensuring accurate financial
records.
Assist residents with rent payment inquiries, providing guidance on
payment options.
Work with property management to address delinquent accounts and
send necessary notices.
Serve as a point of contact for resident inquiries related to
renewals, recertifications, and payments.
Maintain positive resident relations by providing timely and
professional responses.
Maintain organized and up-to-date resident files, including digital
and physical records.
Collaborate with the leasing and property management teams to
ensure a seamless resident experience.
Community Support Specialist Job Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in property management, leasing, or
administrative support in a housing-related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio,
MRI) is a plus.
Familiarity with affordable housing programs, recertifications, or
fair housing laws is preferred.
