Growing logistics company is looking for an experienced Air Cargo Import/Export Operations Specialist for their New York branch office.If you are self-motivated, organized, responsible, and company-oriented, then join this exciting company with growth potential.Job Description & Requirements:Primary duties for this position include but are not limited to assisting the operations department in bookings for domestic and international freight forwarding as well as preparing the appropriate documentation for these shipments.

• Arrange domestic and international import/export shipments via air, trucking, and ocean.
• Assist operations department in bookings and documentation.
• Maintain and cultivate customer and vendor relationships.
• Follow up with shippers and consignees to ensure quality and timeliness of shipments.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Basic freight forwarder knowledge.
  • Ability to learn software programs quickly and adeptly.
  • Solid customer service skills.
  • Sharp organizational skills along with attention to detail and prioritization.
  • MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Strong ability to handle time-sensitive issues.
  • Teamwork oriented.3+ years comprehensive knowledge of the Air Import and Export industry.Fluent in English.Salary: From $50K per year - FULL TIME, 8 hour shift.Company also offers paid vacations & holidays with health benefits.Work Location: In person, NY 11559.
