Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tool Maker to support our production operations in the East Brunswick, NJ area.

Direct Hire! - 1st shift, $30-$40 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform toolmaking operations using blueprints, specifications, and technical diagrams
• Set up and operate a wide range of tool room machinery including grinders, mills, lathes, and drills
• Construct precision parts and components for machine maintenance and production support
• Conduct minor machine repairs as needed
• Fabricate and maintain dies, fixtures, jigs, and other specialized tools
• Collaborate on special projects or fixture designs as assigned
• Assist with training the workforce on proper equipment setup and usage
• Ensure tool room equipment is maintained in a clean and safe working condition
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Trade school training preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tool Maker
  • Strong hands-on experience with manual lathes, grinders, and mills
  • Proven ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical specifications
  • Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
  • Knowledge of materials used in tool making (e.g., tool steel, carbide, aluminum)
  • Familiarity with heat-treating processes such as hardening and tempering
  • Ability to diagnose, repair, or modify existing tools and equipment
  • Capable of fabricating custom tools from concept or verbal instruction Benefits:
