Overnight Process Technician

Overnight 3rd Shift schedule is: Monday - Friday, 8:45 PM to 5:15 AM (overnights)
Overtime, including Saturdays and Sundays may be required.
Located in the Lakewood Industrial Park, Lakewood, NJ.
Contract-to-Hire (immediate start)
Paying $20 per hour


Overnight Process Technician Responsibilities:

Assists in the production of liquid food products and liquid food concentrates by following FDA guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and good manufacturing procedures (GMP's).
Breaks down, clean up and sanitizes production equipment.
Ensure cleanliness and quality of product and manufacturing processes
Blends liquid products together to make bulk batches. Lifts materials weighing up to 50lbs to chest level and places product into tanks.
Stages ingredients (liquids and solids) and measures exact quantities by using industrial scales with forklift assistance. Pre-weigh and ensure recipe is followed.
Safely operate sit-down electric forklift (training and certification is provided).
Operates mixing equipment, including industrial pressure vessels used to cook and process food ingredients using specific times, temperatures and detailed recipe secrets.
Located in the Lakewood Industrial Park.
Must be willing and able to work overtime (5-15 hours per week, if needed)


Overnight Process Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Prior manufacturing, processing or other food production experience is highly desirable but is not required in lieu of other type of manufacturing or warehousing experience.
Prior forklift experience is a plus but not required
Must have the ability to read and follow written instructions.
Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift using both arms and walk using both legs while carrying 5 gallon buckets of material weighing approximately 50lbs
